Meeting a minimum specification is a compatibility baseline, not a guaranteed frame rate. A complex household, large build, background software, thermal limits and mods can all change real performance.

Mac minimum and recommended

Practical interpretation
Keep additional free space for saves, Workshop content and updates beyond the base installation figure. Close unnecessary heavy applications, test without mods and lower resolution or graphic settings when performance is poor. Confirm current requirements before purchasing or diagnosing hardware.
