Paramaker is the current character creator for Parafolks. It supports height adjustment, detailed face and body controls, clothing, labels, personality choices, life stages and household relationships.
Work from broad identity to small detail: establish the silhouette and life stage, define a readable face and wardrobe, then review personality and relationship choices before confirming the household.
Shape appearance from large to small
Set height and overall proportions before fine facial adjustments so later changes do not undermine the original silhouette. Rotate the view and check several distances. Presets are starting points, while the available controls let you refine face and body features without requiring an exact numeric recipe.
Build clothing around situations
Create outfits that remain easy to recognize during ordinary play, then use color and styling choices to distinguish household members. Labels are part of character setup, but patch 0.1.5 appearance editing does not expose every Paramaker field later, so verify identity-related choices before leaving creation.

Review personality, life stage and relationships
Personality choices influence how a Parafolk is presented and behaves, while life stage and household relationships establish the starting structure. Read the in-game descriptions and check every connection in a multi-member household; this guide does not invent trait effects or hidden compatibility scores.
Edit appearance after patch 0.1.5
Version 0.1.5 lets players freely edit a Para through a mirror, hospital or pharmacy. The official notes say this includes Paramaker appearance options except labels, personalities and life stages. Make a save before a major redesign, especially when mods or custom content affect clothing.
