Live Mode is the playable life simulation layer for needs, emotions, wants, autonomy, time, careers, skills, relationships, family and the open town. Multiple Parafolks can be selected for group actions.
Use priorities rather than an uninterrupted queue. Stabilize urgent care, protect fixed commitments, choose one developmental goal and leave room for autonomous behavior that reveals how the household is functioning.
Read needs and emotions together
A low need can explain an emotion or interrupted plan, but not every mood requires immediate correction. Check the visible context, secure essential care and allow the household to recover. This site does not claim hidden thresholds, duration formulas or guaranteed mood conversions.
Use wants as direction, not obligation
Wants can suggest activities that fit a Parafolk's current life, while Life Goals provide broader direction. Choose the prompts that support your story and available time. Declining to chase every want creates space for jobs, relationships, town visits and household maintenance.

Guide autonomy with clear spaces
When autonomy produces repeated failure, inspect access, competing objects and queued actions before disabling broad behavior. A reachable kitchen, bathroom and staircase make autonomous choices easier to read. Use the official Unstuck control when a Parafolk is genuinely unable to proceed.
Group actions around shared destinations
Multi-select Parafolks when several household members should travel, eat or socialize together. Check that each member can access the destination and has enough time for the shared activity. Split the group when individual needs or work commitments make a common queue impractical.
